Beginner Dance Program
Ages 6-9
Beginner Dance I
Ages 6-7
This class will include instruction in tap, ballet, and jazz with a focus on improving coordination, developing a sense of rhythm, and discovering the potential of the body in a fun and supportive environment. Dancers will start to dive deeper into tap, ballet, and jazz terminology.
Beginner Dance II
Ages 7-8
This class will include instruction in tap, ballet, and jazz with a focus on improving coordination, developing a sense of rhythm, and discovering the potential of the body in a fun and supportive environment. Dancers will review and build upon the knowledge and technique learned in Beginner Dance I.
Beginner Dance III
Ages 8-9
This class will include instruction in tap, ballet, and jazz with a focus on improving coordination, developing a sense of rhythm, and discovering the potential of the body in a fun and supportive environment. Dancers will review and build upon the knowledge and technique learned in Beginner Dance I & II, helping to prepare dancers for Intermediate level classes.
Beginner Hip Hop
Ages 6-9
This class explores the technique and style of Hip Hop and Pop dance while building strength for floor skills and promoting individual expression through freestyle dance.
